Police stepping up patrols

North Manchester Police Department The North Manchester Police Department announced that it will be stepping up patrols for impaired driving and drug-impaired driving for the DUITF Blitz through April 4^th. Officers will be working extra hours during these patrols to keep the roadways safe from impaired driving.

Motorists are encouraged to contact the department or call 911 if they encounter an impaired driver on the road

The North Manchester Police Department is a part of the North Manchester Department of Public Safety. Eleven full-time officers staff the department. The Town Marshal is Nate Birch. He can be reached at (260) 982-8556. The department also has an active police reserve unit. Chief Nate Birch oversees the coordination of the reserves.
