Town of North Manchester, Indiana

Gary Montel, appointed in 2020 to fill the unexpired term of Toby Tobias, grew up in North Manchester graduating from Manchester High School and Manchester College.  His work experience includes sales and wholesale credit manager for the Indiana district of a  Fortune 500 company; accountant at Timbercrest and then administrator at a sister Church of the Brethren retirement home in Illinois; development and alumni relations at Manchester University and in retirement, development officer and high school equivalency test coordinator for the Learn More Center in its mission to educate and mentor Wabash County residents for jobs and higher educational experiences.
